William Cole Vineyards 2006 "Cuvée Claire" Cabernet Sauvignon
Cellar Angels is proud to introduce a very special opportunity. William Cole Vineyards is opening its wine library for a limited time only. Tucked away in the cellar of the historic winery, this wine is once again available on a first come first served bases. Wines from William Cole Vineyards are typically never discounted, sold solely through the winery and can only be accessed through their exclusive allocation list. Access has its privileges.
Haunting! But it is a ghost winery, after all. The appearance is a dense ruby color. After 30 minutes of decanting, the aromas of sweet fruit; ripe berries, juicy plum and wild black currant are alluring along with cedar wood, tobacco leaf and eucalyptus essence. The palate is complex, layered and explodes in the mouth with elegant fruit. At the same time it is rugged, with flavors of dried herbs, new leather, and dusty earth. This wine offers seamlessly balanced tannins and a tantalizingly long finish.
While this stunning wine is tasting beautifully now, it is made to hold until 2030, so buy a few and taste through its evolution.
