Senders Wines 2014 'Oakville Station' Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting Notes:
Typical of Oakville, this wine is complex, well integrated and balanced from beginning to end. The color is semi-transparent ruby red with aromas of black fruits, bake shop spice, mocha and a little eucalyptus. The flavors are where it gets interesting and should be experienced over some time to enjoy a lovely evolution that moves effortlessly from plum to red cherry to currant, and from cedar and nutmeg to earthy anise and rose pedals. The tannins are soft and so well integrated. This is a wine to compare year over year, so stock a few bottles to last.
