Phipps Family Cellars 2007 Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma, CA
For all case (12 bottle) orders each bottle will be signed by the winemaker.
A beautiful garnet color, this Zinfandel showcases aromas of red and black licorice, sweet herbal notes and stewed fruit, garnished with the suggestion of minerality, vanilla and chocolate. On the palate the wine is very well balanced with a moderately full body and a crisp finish of cocoa nibs, cedar and a faint hint of minerals coming through at the end. For those of us who enjoy big, bold red wines all year round, this is the perfect summer sipper!
