Modus Operandi 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, CA
The wine we feature this week is a blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from hand selected regions around Napa Valley. In a highly unusual and meticulous process, the grapes were sorted in the vineyards, optical sorted by the amazing Pellenc machine, then hand sorted again on a 30 foot sorting table with 16 people to ensure only the most perfect berries make it to the fermentation vessels. The result of this process is witnessed in the intense purity of Jason’s wine.
This wine has powerful and deep aromatics, loads of black fruit, hints of cedar, sweet vanilla, cassis, and super fine grain tannins which lead to a lengthy, broad and powerful finish.
89% Cabernet Sauvignon
Enjoy now or cellar for 10-15 years. Once open, decant for an hour first.
