Wineries & Stories
What started as two neighbors with a serious passion for wine has since turned into an impressive small production portfolio of Rhone-inspired wines. Winemakers/Owners Brian Callahan and Steven Gower initially planted their own vineyards, situated above the fogline, in the northern part of the Russian River Valley.
Jaclynn Renée Wines
Inspired by her aunt, a wine bar owner in Texas, Jaclynn took only three days after her graduation from Texas Tech, then immediately headed to Sonoma for her first wine internship in 2007. She quickly realized she was quite good at manual labor and figured out the first week that she wanted to do it forever.

Honrama: A Celebration of Opportunity, Labor, Resolve, and the Bond of Generations. Named in honor of Honorio Ramirez Mata, Honrama reflects the bond of respect and admiration between generations. From the soul of a great man whose quest for a better life for his family brought him to Napa Valley working to tend the vineyards and harvest the fruit, to the souls of his children and grandchildren who lovingly make the wine.
Donelan Family Wines
The foundation of the winery began with the family’s estate vineyard, Obsidian. Named after the black volcanic glass in the bedrock beneath the vines, it is one of the most unique in California. It is here the family believes Syrah trumps Cabernet, with its depth of aromas and flavors produced in this unique terroir. In addition to the Rhône varietals Grenache and Mourvedre, they have rounded out the portfolio with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, two more of Sonoma’s famed varieties.
