Special Announcement:

A very special 'Angel Favorite' graces the Cellar Angels' website this week.  We had the honor of featuring the Webster Cellars 2011 Vintner's Reserve in late 2014. It was a huge hit with our members and sold out at the winery. With many requests to bring this wine back, Keith Webster took a few cases from his library just for our members!  If you purchased this wine in the past, now is your chance to collect a few more bottles. And if you missed it last time, don't miss it again. First come, first served.

Tasting Notes:

Only 6 cases available! This wine is available to our Angels as an exclusive opportunity to raise funds for great causes.

Enjoy a journey through a bottle of Webster Cellars wine by none other than Winemaker and Owner Keith Webster, in his own words...

"Transportation is one of the things wine is about. This wine takes you back to your childhood. Back to the fruit stand full of wonderful dark berries, black cherries, boysenberries, and blackberries. These fragrances assail you as you close your eyes and inhale the aroma of the wine as it opens up. Next you may remember your mother stirring cream into her black, rich coffee and remember the smell of that morning coffee. Now it's bedtime on a winter night and the smell of the hot cacao, being made from warm milk and real cacao wafting over to the kitchen table where you wait for the treat that will warm you and make you settle into your dreams.

This wine takes you there. Layered with dark cherry, boysenberries, blackberries, French vanilla, morning coffee and hot chocolate. All this and more as you enjoy the wonderfully gracious entry, the full mid-palate and the long elegant finish of the winemaker's art. This wine is the winemaker's favorite barrels blended together to take you to another place. Make the journey wonderful and fun. Enjoy this as much as I have enjoyed making it and drinking it at my table."

Your wine journey awaits.

Food Pairing Suggestions:
A bold wine with the ability to change minute by minute once opened makes for an easy food pairing wine, especially when the winemaker creates the wine with food in mind. Pairing this wine with meats is no problem. Beef, lamb, sausage, grilled meats, roast pork, BBQ and game meats all pair wonderfully, as do dishes with mushrooms or pungent herbs. Also pair hard cheeses like Cheddar, Colby and Parmesan.
About the Winery
Webster Cellars Keith is a fascinating individual with a history as complex as his great wines. Since his father was a spy, he spent many of his childhood years in Europe. His family integrated with the European culture, allowing Keith to have small amounts of wine with dinner. Years later Keith had a passion and intrigue for Bordeaux wines and set out to learn more. At the same time, he was working on his other passion, art. Learn more
