Tasting Notes:

The rarest of opportunities is now available through Cellar Angels. Access has its privileges.

The bouquet begins with the aromas of blueberry, black cherry, cedar, cigar tobacco, nutmeg, clove, tar, plum, red currant and fig in a very complex and changing nose. The attack is voluminous, dense and rich, with blackberry, cedar, plum, fig, chocolate and tobacco dominating, great density and richness in the mid-palate with richly robed tight grain tannins building progressively. The finish is long, starting with fig and chocolate and moving to fig, plum, toffee and cherry and finally back to fig, toffee and tobacco.

It is recommended to decant for at least an hour for the wine to show beautifully now.

General Food Pairing Suggestions:
For a stunning and luxurious wine like Seven Stones Cabernet Sauvignon, one must splurge on the meal! Pair with decadent meat dishes like balsamic marinated rib eye steak, slow cooked braised short ribs or Châteaubriand. On the lighter side, but still hearty enough to stand up to such impressive Cabernet flavors, complement the wine with truffle risotto with portobello mushrooms, charred gruyere bison burger, wild mushroom stroganoff. Whatever you pair with it, enjoy it slowly and savor every bite and sip.
