Meet Attune Wines
Mike and Nancy Scribner, Ken and Debbie Venner, and David Povlak had a dream to live among the vines and to make wine. Their friendship led them to one of the most beautiful locations in wine country. The Carneros AVA is also famous for growing some of the most enchanting Pinot Noir in the world. These wine friends partnered with talented winemaker, Kenneth Juhasz to complete their dream team. They are taking the wine industry by storm with their magnificent limited production, sustainably farmed Pinot Noir. Guiding every step of the winemaking process at Attune, Winemaker Kenneth Juhasz is focused on making lush, balanced wines, and finding the harmony between power and elegance, structure and finesse. Producing only a few hundred cases of their single-origin Sonoma County wines each year, the goal is to showcase the absolute purity of fruit from the estate vineyard.

Attune Wines 2015 Reserve Pinot Noir
Eighth Street Vineyard, Carneros, Sonoma County, CA
91 Wine Advocate, 90 Gold OC Fair Wine Competition
100% Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes: Grapes for this wine are sustainably farm from 8.5 acres of an ancient riverbed, located in the heart of Sonoma County's Carneros appellation. The vineyard is divided into four distinct blocks and planted with a field blend of two Burgundian clones from the Cote d’Or ideally suited to the soils and location. Clone 667 gives beautiful acidity, great structure, small clusters, intense color and a long finish, while clone 115 helps achieve a sophisticated elegance and incredible aromatics. Together, these clones produce a wine with complex synergies and exceptional balance. Hand-harvested solely based on flavor and whole cluster pressed, this remarkable wine is aged 15 months in French oak and rests at least 1 year in bottle before release. The Estate Pinot is crafted to show incredibly well upon release and age beautifully for a decade or more. Production: 280 cases
Attune Wines 2016 Reserve Chardonnay
Station Ranch Vineyard, Carneros, Sonoma County, CA
Tasting Notes: The first Reserve tier Chardonnay from Attune, this 45 case production is very limited in availability and we are thrilled for the chance to include it as an exclusive offer for clients of Payroll Vault! Grapes are harvested by hand, in the middle of the night, then brought to the winery in small bins to protect their fragile integrity. The clusters are then cold-soaked and allowed to ferment slowly over the course of several days. After a gentle pressing, the juice goes into a carefully selected mix of neutral and new French oak barrels for 18months, with an additional year of aging before release. Elegant and straw colored, this racy single vineyard wine captivates with aromas of spring flowers and lemon peel. Notes of gravenstein apple, brioche and chalk emerge from a flash of focused acidity. On the palate it is bright and structured with a backbone of minerality supporting rich fruit and a long, creamy finish.
