Howell Mountain Vineyards 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon
Howell Mountain Vineyards
Region: Howell Mountain, Napa, CA

Howell Mountain is a truly unique place and because it has its own special climate and soil producing "Howell Mountain" characteristics, it was the first sub-appellation AVA (American Viticultural Area) within Napa Valley. Howell Mountain Vineyards strives to allow their wine to reflect the Howell Mountain essence with minimal intervention.
Leading with a garnet gemstone color, the aromas and bouquet explode from the glass. Blackberry, currant, cranberry initiate a seductive aromatic dance which includes forest floor, saddle, clove and anise. The aromas are confirmed on the palate with additional flavors of wet stone, tart black cherry and dried herbs. The finish is extraordinarily long with hints of vanilla.
