World Central Kitchen (WCK) is an NGO, not-for-profit non-governmental organization, devoted to providing meals in the wake of natural disasters. Founded in 2010 by celebrity Chef José Andrés, the organization prepared food in Haiti following its devastating earthquake. Its method of operations is to be a first responder and then to collaborate and galvanize solutions with local chefs to solve the problem of hunger, immediately following a disaster.
In efforts to support their #ChefsForAmerica campaign at locations around the country and the word, Cellar Angels included WCK for customers to contribute proceeds from every wine purchase. SIP, SAVE and GIVE back or donate directly to the organization here.
Currently, the volunteers from WCK are supporting those affected by extreme winter weather in Texas and around the county.
