Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation
Established in 1982, Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation presently funds some of the best researchers in the world who are specifically focused on improving current treatments for pediatric cancer that can be immediately transferred from the laboratory to the bedside.
Since that time, PCRF’s dedicated volunteers have raised over $28 million and awarded cancer research grants across the country, funding the most state-of-the-art translational research. Recently PCRF also awarded a five year $1.5 million grant to support the Clinical Trial Program in the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. This PCRF clinical trial identifies and tests new therapies intended to decrease toxicity of these treatments and improve patient outcome and survival rates.
Dedicated volunteers ensure that over 80% of every dollar raised goes directly to research, allowing PCRF to focus time, talent and money on finding the cure.
