For all orders of 6 bottles or more, you will be entered into a drawing to receive a wooden box set of the Zoetic Wines pre-release 2014 Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir - a $80 retail value.   Special notes: Includes autographed bottles by the winemaker.

Bottle 1 - "Grazioso" – only 45 cases produced. Grazioso means "graceful" which defines this wine perfectly.  The winemaker aged this wine for approximately 6 months in a combination of neutral French oak and stainless steel barrels and blended in just a touch of Viognier.

Bottle 2 - “Hop Kiln” – only 68 cases produced. The winemaker blended both 777 and Pommard clones for this single-vineyard designate wine which was aged for 11 months with one-third aged in 1-year used French oak and two-thirds aged in neutral French oak. A lot going on in this wine!

Tasting Notes:

A wine tends to taste that much better when you know it was made with passion, sacrifice and love. Winemaker Kim Vance uprooted her life and moved to California to pursue her dreams. She appropriately named her new venture Zoetic Wines - zo·et·ic (zō'etik) adj: of or relating to life: living, vital.

On sight, the wine shows a beautiful light ruby red. The aromas of cherry, cranberry, cola and spice are profound and leap from the glass. The palate is rich and silky with fruit flavors of cherry and cranberry continuing through. Also woven in are violets, hazelnut, sassafras and a pleasing minerality. The finish is lovely with soft, smooth tannins.

Food Pairing Suggestions:
This is a food-friendly wine and pairs well with pork, lamb, chicken and turkey. Also meatier fish, lighter pasta dishes and vegetarian items are good matches. Cheeses such as Edam, Gouda, Gruyere, light Cheddars and Chevre are excellent pairings as well. Chocolate or nut based desserts are also good food choices. Or, simply enjoy Zoetic Wines Pinot Noir on its own as an ideal pairing with friends, on the back porch, at a picnic or even curled up on the couch watching a movie.
About the Winery
Zoetic Wines Kim has long been a wine lover and enthusiast. She has taken countless trips to wine country over the years, but it was one visit in particular that changed the course of her life. The financial sector was a great career for Kim. She did well and enjoyed her life in Houston, but once bitten by the winemaking bug, she and her husband packed their belongings and headed for Northern California. Following her passion, she settled on Russian River Valley as an artistic canvas and focused on learning the idiosyncrasies of her favorite finicky grape, Pinot Noir. Learn more
