Vineyard:
Deux Chevaux Vineyard
About the Vineyard:
The Deux Chevaux Vineyard is a 60-acre parcel situated north-east of the town of Yountville, in the Yountville Appellation. The vineyard is bordered by two waterways; Conn Creek runs the length of the eastern border of the vineyard and the Napa River runs along the western corner. This vineyard is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Chardonnay and Malbec. This vineyard is influenced to a great degree by the San Francisco Bay and the early morning fog and late afternoon winds that it generates. Tamber Bey Vineyards currently produces eight wines from this vineyard.
Additional Winemaker Notes:
Barrel aged in 59% new oak for 19 months.

Food Pairing Suggestions:
Pair an elegant Bordeaux style blend like this with a Filet Mignon & Mushrooms Braised in a Whiskey Pan Sauce with Potato-Leek Squares or Braised Lamb Shoulder with Fennel and Orange.
