Adam Hersly
About the Winemaker:
After a BS in Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and many successful years of product management in the tech industry, winemaker Adam Hersly pursued a Certificate of Wine Making through the prestigious UC Davis Department of Viticulture and Enology. Adam has also studied under some of the finest winemakers in California during internships at August West/Sandler and Joseph Phelps Vineyards.
Named after Hersly winery dog Mae, “Mae” Rosé is a lovely rose of Merlot from a small, private vineyard in Calistoga, Napa Valley.
About the Vineyard:
Additional Winemaker Notes:
“Mae” Rosé is processed whole cluster, direct to press, making it a fuller bodied rosé. After starting fermentation in stainless steel, mid-fermentation half of the wine is moved to neutral oak barrels. From the words of a very respected sommelier in NYC, “this is by far, the best rose I have had!”

Food Pairing Suggestions:
The Hersly Wines Mae Rosé is great for sipping poolside on its own, but it'll also pair with seasonal spring cuisine. Pair it with a summer salad with fresh strawberries, arugula, balsamic and shaved parmesan cheese, or Mae's favorite, fresh sashimi.
About the Winery
Hersly Wines Adam and Stacy Hersly were enjoying a successful urban life in New York City, working in and enjoying one of the busiest cities in the world with endless opportunities and social excitement. But something was missing. They had always imagined living and making wine in the heart of California's wine country. Turning talk into action, they packed up everything and moved across the country in search of fulfillment. Learn more
