Haunting! But it is a ghost winery, after all. The appearance is a dense ruby color. After 30 minutes of decanting, the aromas of sweet fruit; ripe berries, juicy plum and wild black currant are alluring along with cedar wood, tobacco leaf and eucalyptus essence. The palate is complex, layered and explodes in the mouth with elegant fruit. At the same time it is rugged, with flavors of dried herbs, new leather, and dusty earth. This wine offers seamlessly balanced tannins and a tantalizingly long finish.
While this stunning wine is tasting beautifully now, it is made to hold until 2030, so buy a few and taste through its evolution.
