Tasting Notes:

In the glass this wine appears a beautiful golden yellow. It leaps from the glass with uninhibited aromas of apricot, banana, thyme and toasted coconut with almonds. The palate reveals rich flavors of poached pear, hazelnut, honeysuckle, white pepper and vanilla bean. It is in perfect balance and the complexity is captivating. The finish is medium in length with a decadent creme brulee finale.

Food Pairing Suggestions:
This voluptuous and complex Chardonnay desires more intricate food pairings than many Chardonnays. Chicken or fish appetizers with herbs and sauces will pair nicely. Serve with roast chicken cooked to perfection with intense seasoning to bring out concentrated flavors. Roasted, baked or grilled well-seasoned fish is another good option. Most Chardonnays call for mild to medium cheeses. For this one though, it can stand up to more multifaceted flavors and the intensity of harder cheeses like aged Gouda and Parmesan.

As an adult living in San Francisco, Pam spent a lot of time in wine country cultivating her palate.
