Tasting Notes:

Showing off his "non-intervention" approach, award-winning Winemaker Bryan Kane brings out the best of Red Hills and Howell Mountain AVA's in this ultra-small batch Cabernet Sauvignon.

The appearance of velvety ruby edges and a dense purple center leads to aromas of black and red fruits, vanilla, spice, dried herbs and anise. On the palate, beautifully balanced and well integrated flavors of black currant, cassis, plum, black tea, and hints of dill lead to a long lasting finish with a firm grip.

Food Pairing Suggestions:
A careful winemaking approach allowed this wine reflect what mother-nature intended and it deserves a careful selection of decadent foods to cap off the experience. Serve with grand meat dishes like balsamic marinated rib eye steak, slow cooked braised short ribs or Châteaubriand. On the lighter side, but still hearty enough to stand up to such impressive Cabernet Sauvignon flavors, compliment the wine with Portabella mushroom truffle risotto, charred Gruyere bison burger or wild mushroom stroganoff. Whatever your food pairing pleasure, enjoy it slowly and savor every bite and sip.
