Tasting Notes:
This estate bottled Chardonnay shows excellent balance between rich aromas and flavors and clean acidity. Aromas of over-ripe apple mingle with layered nuances of grilled tropical fruits, toasty notes, apricots and minerality. A supple mouthfeel and a long, lingering finish makes each sip an experience. This is a beautiful wine that can easily be enjoyed on its own or with food.

About the Vineyard:

Winemaker Andrew Schweiger follows the philosophy that terrific wine comes from terrific grapes and focuses just as much on the growing of the fruit as he does on making exceptional wines. This 2009 vintage is the sixteenth release of their Chardonnay, and as always, the focus is on balance between fruitiness and complexity.
