This wine has us really excited for warm weather and the summer grilling that goes with it! A bold wine, it is nearly opaque with a beautiful, deep garnet color. Thick, slow moving legs are an indicator of the substantial body and alcohol in the bottle. Allow 30-45 minutes to decant – you’ll be glad you did! Rich aromas of sweet blueberry pie are complimented by bakeshop spices of nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla. Layers of chocolate-covered dark cherry, anise and sweet toasted oak are present. Dark fruit, bakeshop spices and chocolate follow through on the spicy palate. This Zin’s higher acidity and softly coating tannins will nicely compliment all of your grilled steaks, sausages and brats. Enjoy!
