Tasting Notes:
A beautiful garnet color, this Zinfandel showcases aromas of red and black licorice, sweet herbal notes and stewed fruit, garnished with the suggestion of minerality, vanilla and chocolate. On the palate the wine is very well balanced with a moderately full body and a crisp finish of cocoa nibs, cedar and a faint hint of minerals coming through at the end. For those of us who enjoy big, bold red wines all year round, this is the perfect summer sipper!

Food Pairing Suggestions:
This Zinfandel is a meat lover’s wine! Big and bold with high acidity and tannin, Zinfandel can stand up to meat dishes and cut through fat providing a perfect balance of flavors. Pairs beautifully with BBQ pork ribs, roast leg of lamb, steak, Italian sausage, venison and brisket. Also try tomato based pasta dishes such as lasagna or spaghetti, beef stew or chili and cheeses such as Parmesan, aged Cheddar or Gouda, Asiago or Pepper Jack.
