Enjoy a VIP wine tasting for four guests when you purchase a case (12 bottles) or more of the 2017 Passaggio Unoaked Chardonnay.
Tasting Notes:

A shimmering pale yellow gold in color, this quaffable Chardonnay is far from the rich, oaky style for which California has often been known. Fresh, fruit-driven aromatics jump from the glass. Golden apple, peach and fresh citrus are prominent, with pineapple and soft white floral notes as the wine opens. Go a bit deeper and you’ll find a pleasant minerality and subtle orange vanilla aromas. Medium in body, this wine is well-balanced, with a silky texture on the palate, and a beautifully long, lingering finish.

Food Pairing Suggestions:
While Chardonnay easily adapts to the introduction of oak, it really shows off its natural fruit flavors when fermented and aged solely in stainless steel - like the Passaggio Wines 2017 Unoaked Chardonnay. Try this fresh, fruit driven wine with light dishes like linguini, clams and shrimp scampi. Salads, antipasto, sushi and seafood dishes are also great pairings. Doing a cheese plate? Focus on soft to medium-hard cheeses. Share your favorite pairing with us @CellarAngels on Instagram!
