Noble Wines Library Reserve 2006 "High Valley" Petite Sirah
Noble Wines
Region: Lake County, CA

There is nothing petite about this Petite Sirah. Visualize rocky steep slopes very similar to the famous Rhone region of Crozes-Hermitage, for this Lake County gem. Inky with a deep, reddish-purple hue, the concentration is evident as the legs leisurely creep down the sides of the glass. With a quick smell, one can imagine standing in a cellar surrounded by wine barrels. The enticing aromas of sweet fruit and tobacco carry through to voluptuous flavors of blackberry, black cherry, anise, eucalyptus, leather and black pepper. The heavy tannins are not off-putting in the least but rather match the power of the wine and create a memorable finish.
The promise on every Noble Wines' bottle?
Trying to live up to our name with every vintage. Enjoy!

AgeabilityNo wine is released before its time. Noble ages all wine until it is ready to drink. This big and inky Petite Sirah is drinking beautifully now but can age as long as 20 years under proper cellar conditions.
