Noble Wines 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon
Noble Wines
Region: Napa Valley, CA

My transition to the wine business has been a journey of many joys. Tasting wine and sharing my assessment is among them, especially when it’s one of my top 5 favorites. I’m honored to share this wine with you.
Eight years of age, but it is still looking and tasting youthful. This sounds like it’s a living breathing entity, and in fact it is, aging and changing over time if cared for properly. Note the color, brilliant and deepest of reds all the way to the edge as if much younger. A whiff relays robust dark fruits, sweet tobacco, baker’s chocolate and a hint of Eucalyptus. A masculine approach on the explosive palate, the robust flavors of black currants, cranberry, ripe plum, cedar, lilac and black tea are revealed. The tannins are still sturdy and this wine seems to have a lot of life remaining.
Note: This wine was tasted intermittently over the course of an hour. I recommend taking your time with this one and enjoying the evolution.
