Tasting Notes:

At first site, the wine is a deep dark reddish-purple color. The nose offers sweet black fruit aromas along with spice and earth.  The flavors envelope the mouth with intense juicy blackberry, black currants, earth, mocha and spice.  The long finish is structured with silky tannins.

This week's wine offers Cellar Angels' members the opportunity for a double dose of giving. "With every bottle of wine we produce (whether we sell it, sample it or consume it) we contribute 5% of total top-line annual production value per each of the charities we support. Making wine feeds our soul. Buying our wine in small measure helps contribute to a soul in need. Thank you for supporting our wine."

About the Winery
Mulvane Wine Company Blessed with an Italian-American heritage, Rocco Califano was exposed to winemaking at an early age. For centuries the family led an agrarian life in the region of Campania, Italy where grapes for the market also became vino della casa. Salvatore Califano came to the New World seeking opportunity for his craft as a bespoke tailor. His profession aside, Salvatore brought along some traditions from back home. Learn more
