About the Winemaker:
Roberts Road Vineyard
About the Vineyard:
Owned by the Sangiacomo family, Roberts Road Vineyard sits at an elevation of 100-150 feet just 10 miles north of Petaluma. Built on the old bed of a creek, the soil drains excessively well, producing light and expressive wines. Handpicked, the vineyard crew pulls only the finest clusters off the vine, leaving anything that doesn’t make the cut.

Additional Winemaker Notes:
  • Aged on the lees for 12 months
  • Aged 14 months in 40% new French oak barrels

Food Pairing Suggestions:
This food friendly Chardonnay will pair well with a myriad of dishes. Enjoy with chicken Alfredo, Lobster with drawn butter, sausage in a mild sauce (but not spicy). Also pairs well with creamy soups, meaty fish like salmon and sea bass, crab, scallops, cheese soufflé dishes, cream based pasta dishes and Caesar salad. Cheese pairings include triple cream cheese, Gouda, and aged Cheddar.
