Tasting Notes:

The Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Pope Valley region of Napa Valley and is an artful blend of three Sauvignon Blanc clones. The wine was aged for eight months—20% in French oak barrels, 80% in stainless steel—before blending, bottling and aging for an additional year prior to release.

In remaining true to her style, Marketta goes against the California norm by releasing a more aged Sauvignon Blanc – while most others are already sold on the market, Marketta’s ‘Hand Made” wines are still aging in barrels and vats, and growing in complexity.

The wine is elegant, rich and flavorful with essence of citrus evolving to tropical fruit that showcases the complexity and the varietal character. A “wow” Sauvignon Blanc. Excellent with food, or simply to enjoy on its own.
