Tasting Notes:

The summer is here and we have discovered this year's back yard sipper. A compilation of grape varietals "inspired" by the famous French region, the Rhône Valley, you'll discover how luscious and crisp, round and balanced a white wine can be when blended to perfection.

Enjoy a lovely greeting of golden yellow wine with terrific aromatics of tropical fruit, white flowers and wet stone. The flavors are plenty and mouthwatering as the initial citrus, granny smith apple and peach make way for mango and ginger. Sprinkled in is almond, butterscotch and a hint of minerality. Balanced and refreshing, this wine is meant to pair with summer food favorites.

Food Pairing Suggestions:
Beautifully crisp and aromatic white wines made in the French Rhône style are great on their own, but also quite easy to pair with lighter summer fare. The terrifically balanced acidity allows this wine a wide variety of options from creamy sauces, poultry, fish, vegetables, tacos and ceviche. Pair with fried or grilled fish and vegetables, cheese soufflé, foie gras, medium hard cheeses and spring salads.
About the Winery
Inspiration Vineyards Born from a dream and a mid-life career change, Inspiration Vineyards was created in 2002. Jon Phillips' passion for wine, however, dates back much further to his grandparents who made wine in the early 1900's. For years, Jon was determined to break into the wine business by working weekends in tasting rooms, teaching wine classes and ultimately enrolling in a class at UC Davis in Enology and Viticulture. Shortly thereafter Jon made his first barrel of wine, a Zinfandel. Learn more
