When you purchase the 2014 Greyscale Wines Cabernet Sauvignon by the case (12 bottles), Owners Jean and Larry Rowe invite you and three guests to join them for a VIP wine tasting in St. Helena. You'll relax and taste through current Greyscale Wines' vintages and select library wines.

Tasting Notes:
The wine has a dark red color with inky purplish hue. An earthy complex nose with sweet oak, dried herb, blackberries, black cherry, blackcurrant, and a touch of white pepper. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced with a silky and cohesive taste of black fruit including black cherry and blackcurrant with polished tannins and a trace of fennel on its long finish.

Food Pairing Suggestions:
Cabernet Sauvignon, bold and powerful in style, is meant for similar food accompaniments. If paired properly, it can produce the meal of a lifetime. Because of its stronger tannins, pair with fattier meats like beef steaks, beef and pork roasts, venison, lamb and hamburgers. Also serve with mushroom dishes and meals with herbs and pepper. Hard cheeses can be a nice compliment. Share your favorite pairing with us on Instagram by tagging @CellarAngels
