A raw expression of Mother Nature shines through in this lovely Pinot Noir. Winemaker, Rodney Gagnon, methodically elects to go light on the oak fermentation so the fruit is more prominent and the acid allows for better balance. This is a "Great Wine doing Greater Good" as Glasshaus Wines is rooted in community and charity.
Beautifully warm and ruby in color, the bouquet bounds from the rim with aromas of fresh harvested cherry and cranberry, dusty earth, fall blooms and faint vanilla. Pleasingly fruit forward, the palate explodes with great depth and flavors of boysenberry, red raspberry, violets, forest floor and a hint of caramel. The finish is clean, leaving the palate ready for the next bite of Thanksgiving turkey.
