Tasting Notes:
Entrepreneur Wines 2012 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Mount Veeder, Napa Valley
Mount Veeder, in close proximity to the cool breezes of the San Pablo Bay and unique soils of an ancient seabed, provides a profound reflection of "sense of place", or terroir. This AVA (American Viticultural Area) imparts a notable distinctiveness specific only to Mount Veeder.
With a captivating dark ruby color and intense concentrated edges, this Cabernet Sauvignon opens with rich and intense aromas of blueberry, cigar box, toffee and orange peel. The flavors are velvety and well-integrated with nuances of black currant, plum, rose pedal and dark chocolate. The finish is lingering and the minerality really shines through.

Food Pairing Suggestions:
The international "king of grapes", Cabernet Sauvignon works very well with food pairings that compliment its full-bodied power. Experiment with grilled NY Strip Steak and crispy potatoes, spaghetti and veal meatballs, braised short ribs, brisket and roasted duck breast. Experiment with cheeses like sharp Cheddar, aged Gouda, Bleu Cheese and Comte.
