This wine was sourced from Mill Creek Vineyard, situated on the west side of the Napa River, midway between St. Helena and Calistoga on the northern end of the Napa Valley. With 20 months in barrel and an unprecedented 5 years in bottle before release, the 2003 Delgadillo Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon has been beautifully aged in ideal cellar conditions before its release. Aromas of blackberries, blueberries, cherry, cinnamon and vanilla punctuate the nose. In the mouth, look for intense flavors of fresh plum and berries along with caramel overlaid by well-integrated oak tones. The finish is long, layered and silky.
