Tasting Notes:
Charbay’s Tasting Room Review: Tasted the Cabernet Franc 2007 at cellar temperature. Mellow, elegant European style wine yet bigger than a European Cab Franc would ever be. The body is rounded with the French oak aging. The leather, chocolate overtones are subtle but firm. It is a dry wine with medium tannins. It has a clean finish.

Food Pairing Suggestions:
This wine pairs very well with a wide variety of meats, particularly when fresh herbs are involved. Grilled or barbequed steak, pork, lamb or salmon all pair very well with this wine, especially when mushrooms or olives are added. Additionally, try roasted vegetables, Spanish cuisine, sausage pizza or beef dishes with rich sauces.
