Tasting Notes:
The 2007 unfiltered Barlow Estate Cabernet Sauvignon may be the finest wine of the vintage. It has a solid tannin structure that will allow it to mature nicely over time. The aromas represent the essence of the Barlow vineyard with sour black cherry, rum raisin and just a hint of French vanilla. It shows pure black currant fruit interwoven with tobacco leaf, ink, smoke, and forest floor. A medium to full-bodied wine, pure, rich and convincing.

About the Winery
Barlow Vineyards Barlow Vineyards is a true family business with two generations working the land and vineyards passionately. Warren and Jeanne Smith and Barr and Ann Smith relocated from Southern California seeking a life style change and to fulfill a life time dream. The land they purchased, now known as Barlow Vineyards, is an ideal 54 acre vineyard just south of Calistoga at the upper end of the Napa Valley. They all recognized the area was well known for producing intense red wines. Learn more
