Anaba Wines 2012 Pinot Noir
Anaba Wines
Region: Sonoma Coast, Sonoma, CA

We all seek that great bottle of wine which awakens our senses and causes us to perk up and take extra notice – the hidden gem; the bottle modestly priced but drinks like a costly trophy. I found such an experience here. Delightful from first glance with its burgundy color and purple hues, the bright and lively aromas and flavors are an endless journey with each sip. Fresh picked cherries and berries up front, leading to Fall leaves and that Burgundian-like earthiness. The mouth feel is big with great texture. Floral notes of lavender and violets are perfect accents along with lovely bakeshop spices, cinnamon, vanilla and caramel. The finish is long and completely satisfying. I'll have another.
~Denise Cody, Cellar Angels' Chief Operating Angel
The winds of Sonoma lent us our name. Be it a steady breeze or a firm gust, an anabatic wind is one that blows up the hills of a vineyard during calm and sunny weather.
