Mulvane Wine Company is a pursuit of passion for me. I wanted to remain connected to my parents Old World roots, where my ancestors were farmers and grew grapes for the market and also for wine making. While my ancestors owned their vineyard, at Mulvane we have the unique pleasure to work directly with some of Napa Valley’s best growers.
During the growing season, working with our consulting wine maker Patrick Saboe, we walk the vineyards checking the progress of our fruit. Our wines are handcrafted and artisanal reflecting the specific site from which it is harvested. Grapes contribute specific flavors. However, the soil and climate is what shapes a wines character. The result is a terrior focused wine that not only reflects a specific vineyard site, it also reflects the particular vintage year.

As a small producer, we do not offer our wines to retail stores. We sell directly to consumers through our website and to the a few restaurants. While promoting our wines to a restaurant, the General Manager introduced me to Cellar Angels. This was as they say, serendipitous. Why? When we started Mulvane we also wanted to contribute to charities in our local community. In some small way, we wanted to pay it forward. Having our wine featured by Cellar Angels not only introduced us to a broader audience, it also broadened the number of charities that potentially benefit from the sale of wine.
