How To Make a difference in Sonoma County After the Kincade FirePublished by Ivy Tac on Sat, 11/23/2019 - 16:41
Now more than ever, we need your help in Sonoma County. After the long stretch of recent power outages and evacuation orders in October due to the Kincade fire, many wineries, restaurants and other small businesses throughout Sonoma County (particularly those in Geyserville, Healdsburg and Windsor) are feeling the detriment from the loss of business and sales during that time – Cast Wines included.
Much of the news out there makes it sound like all of Sonoma County was on fire – that is not the case. As a matter of fact, much of the land that did burn in the fire was uninhabited parkland in the Sonoma County hills. Many visitors who have come to visit post-fire have even said they can barely even tell that a fire came through the area while driving on the 101 and through the towns that originally had evacuation orders placed on them. The part of wine country that many know and love is still here and ready to welcome you with open arms!
So please come visit and show your support for not only us, but other localbusinesses in the area that were affected. After all, we could not be here without your support!
The best thing everyone can do is to come visit, enjoy and purchase Sonoma County wines. To purchase Cast Wines or to make your reservation for a special wine country experience with us, please visit www.castwines.com. You are also welcome to stop in for our standard wine tasting flight from 10am-5pm daily.
We hope to see you soon!
